Philips Automotive cites 3 customer focuses during product introductions

During a press conference at Automechanika Frankfurt (Germany), Philips Automotive introduced three new products focused on three distinct customer segments.

Dominique Plancke, CEO of Philips Automotive, described the customer needs and expectations into these distinct categories:  regular, sporty and safety, reported Amy Antenora for aftermarketNews.com

“We see this as a fantastic opportunity to build on these trends,” Plancke said.

Plancke added, wrote Antenora, that “the lighting category not only plays a fundamental role in vehicular safety today but also style and personalization, as well as environmental friendliness.”

He noted that automotive lighting has roles in style, personalization and environmental friendliness, as well as vehicular safety.
