‘Performance Business,’ ‘Hotrod & Restoration’ Merge

Dec 4, 2013

A powerful new business publication has arrived to serve professionals in the performance automotive aftermarket.

Respected industry trade magazines Performance Business and Hotrod & Restoration have joined forces to create Performance & Hotrod Business, a publication designed to serve professional builders, retailers and race shops.

“It just got easier to do business in the automotive aftermarket,” says Kent Bradley, publisher. “We have combined the strengths of Performance Business and Hotrod & Restoration into a single publication – Performance & Hotrod Business.”

Bradley, current and founding publisher of Performance Business and current publisher of Hotrod & Restoration, says the new format, to be introduced with the February issue, offers more for readers and advertisers alike.

“We look forward to offering more,” Bradley said. “More value, more pages, more articles, more variety and more reasons to keep every issue. Readers will receive more usable tips and information to help their businesses, many times written by those who have done it themselves, and advertisers will reach a much broader audience of professionals who are looking for their products and services.”

Still trade only, Performance & Hotrod Business is tagged “THE SHOP RESOURCE FOR BUILDERS, RETAILERS, AND RACERS” and will be offered in print and electronically to more than 20,000 subscribers made up of speed shops, engine builders, hot rod businesses and performance retailers nationwide. In addition, a more robust eNewsletter will reach more than 48,000 individual industry professionals.

For more than a decade, both Performance Business and Hotrod & Restoration have built loyal followings of dedicated readers looking for industry news, trends and advice. The forward-looking concept of Performance & Hotrod Business promises to expand on the legacy of both brands, building on the many synergies between the two publications.

In addition, the annual Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show, a business-only event coming to Indianapolis in March, will offer an expanded educational format and will be co-located with the Restyling & Truck Accessories Trade Show.
