“I am excited about having David’s leadership for our national distribution organization as well as assisting with the continuing integration of the DACCO business and team from our acquisition earlier this year,” Bowes said. “I look forward to his contributions in executing dynamic growth strategies, value selling and salesforce management as we strengthen our leadership position in our industry.”

Haynes brings a significant track record in leading corporate strategic growth initiatives, according to the company, and joins Transtar from Honeywell International in Cleveland where he served as vice president of marketing for its Novar and Inncom building automation and energy management divisions. Prior to Honeywell, David held executive-level marketing and sales roles in manufacturing, software and telecommunications. He served as executive vice president for Fabcon, a California contract manufacturer; as co-founder and vice president of sales and marketing for a California wireless software start-up and consulted for Deloitte & Touche. Haynes has international business experience, as well as having led M&A and integration projects during his career.
