Most museums rely on robust membership programs in order to thrive. The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, California is no different, as it announces the new Mullin 1000 Club.
In the spirit of bringing the beauty of Art Nouveau and Art Deco automobiles and artwork to an even larger audience, the Mullin 1000 Club is offering four different membership levels. Each tier is named after an iconic European motoring event in which Peter Mullin has participated: Mille Miglia 1000, Pau Grand Prix, Le Mans Grand Prix and Monaco Grand Prix. Benefits increase with each successive level.
Mullin memberships begin with Mille Miglia 1000. This level receives six tickets to the Mullin Automotive Museum for normal Saturday public admission and two tickets that can be used for the semi-private museum tours that take place on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Mille Miglia 1000 members also are granted one tour for two at the private Mullin Collection of Art Nouveau pre-World War I brass cars in West Los Angeles. This membership also includes a 10-percent discount at the museum store, two Mullin 1000 Club caps, express admission to the museum and a subscription to the Mullin Automotive Museum’s quarterly newsletter, according to the museum.
The next level is Pau Grand Prix. Named after the famed French race track, this membership tier includes all of the Mille Miglia 1000 benefits plus two additional public day tickets, six additional tickets for the semi-private Tuesday tours and one tour for up to six people at the private Art Nouveau Mullin Collection, according to the museum.
Le Mans Grand Prix members receive additional museum privileges. The package includes 14 public day admissions, 10 semi-private Tuesday tour tickets and one tour for eight of the private Mullin Collection in West Los Angeles. Le Mans level members also receive a 10-percent discount on museum rentals for private events and 10-percent off items in the museum store, according to the museum. The package also includes two Mullin 1000 Club caps and a choice of two vests or sweatshirts. Le Mans Grand Prix members also enjoy express entry into the museum and a subscription to the quarterly newsletter.
Those wishing to support the museum at the highest level can opt for the Monaco Grand Prix membership. This includes all of the store and facilities rental discounts listed above plus the Mullin 1000 apparel. It also includes an invitation to an exclusive luncheon with Mullin Automotive Museum founder Peter Mullin in December.
Monaco Grand Prix members will receive invitations to special private events and celebrations. The first 100 Monaco Grand Prix members will also receive copies of a Mullin Automotive Museum book and the museum’s latest release, Lalique Automotive Art, documenting the hood mascot mastery of French glass artist René Lalique. The books will be autographed by Peter Mullin.
All Monaco Grand Prix members will receive 18 public day admission tickets to the Mullin, 14 admissions to semi-private Tuesday tours and two tours for up to 10 individuals of the private Mullin Collection in West Los Angeles.
The Mullin Automotive Museum is devoted to prewar French automotive art and culture.
