Milestone Year for ididit Car Show and Open House

Jan 15, 2016

The 25th anniversary of the iconic ididit Car Show and Open House will be celebrated this year. The show is set for Oct. 1.

Started in 1991, the free-to-attend annual ididit Car Show and Open House draws attendees from all over Michigan, the surrounding states and Canada. It’s typically the last chance for northern car lovers to see the area’s best hot rods before they’re tucked away for winter.

The 2015 show (see highlight video above)-held during a rainy day on Oct. 3-showcased nearly 400 trucks, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, lead sleds and specialty vehicles.

ididit also gives show attendees a chance to tour their entire facility and see machine demonstrations throughout the day. ididit partnered with the Lenawee Country Humane Society in 2014 and 2015 to raffle off a custom golf cart featuring an ididit steering column. All proceeds benefited the humane society, which provides shelter and medical care for stray and unwanted animals in Lenawee County.

The National Street Rod Association also is regularly on site at the show to conduct free safety inspections.
