The workshops allow metal fabricators a chance to watch and listen as master metal shaper Covell shares his expertise of metal shaping, as well as showcasing a variety of metal fabrication tools that Trick-Tools has to offer.
“Whether you are an experienced fabricator, or even a beginner, you can learn valuable information about metal shaping that you never knew before,” the company stated in an announcement.
Day 1 of the workshops will focus on working with tubing. Covell will perform a variety of techniques when working with tubing and will demonstrate multiple topics including bending, mitering, coping, flaring, and tapering.
He will also be working with pre-bent tubing to demonstrate header and collector building techniques. Most work will be done with simple tools and techniques, but he will also present a variety of high-end tools to make working with tubing easy and effortless, according to the company.
On Day 2, Covell will demonstrate his metal-shaping expertise by building a grille shell for a 1932 Ford during his Complex Metal Shaping Workshop, which will run the gamut of basic metal-shaping techniques and feature a variety of tools including English wheels, mallets, sandbags, shrinker/stretchers and much more in this complicated build.
All Workshops are $190 per day and pre-registration is required. You may attend one or both, and there are no prerequisites for any workshops, according to the company.
