Mast Motorsports, Nacogdoches, Texas, has acquired cylinder head and intake manufacturing company Performance Induction Specialties.
The new manufacturing facility will remain in Walled Lake, Mich., and utilize the latest manufacturing equipment and software including CAD modeling and design, CAM manufacturing, five-axis CNC machines, vertical mold makers, four-axis valve job machines, and a state-of-the-art flow bench, according to a press release.
“From concept to reality, acquiring Performance Induction Specialties brings tremendous capabilities in-house,” said Horace Mast, owner and lead engineer. “This will allow us to bring innovative products to market faster while driving customers cost of those products down.”

He will turn over his sales responsibilities to Mast Motorsports’ dedicated sales team to focus solely on new product development and cylinder head production.
