MagnaFlow DPFs Available for Ram Trucks with 6.7 Cummins Diesel

Jul 31, 2015

MagnaFlow has announced the availability of replacement catalytic converters and DPFs for 2007-12 Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7 liter Cummins diesel.

Many people opt to run without catalytic converters or a DPF on their truck because either the stock units failed and were too expensive to replace or because they believe that they somehow sap performance. Though this may have been true 30 years ago, it’s not true now, according to MagnaFlow. Modern cats and DPFs have excellent flow characteristics and the astronomical fines associated with being caught running without them makes it very worthwhile to have functioning units on a truck. The MagnaFlow direct-fit replacements are designed to bolt right up to the vehicle and meet or exceed OEM specifications.

The MagnaFlow replacement DPF is an excellent alternative to factory DPFs when replacement is necessary and is much more affordable, according to the company. MagnaFlow’s new catalytic converters and DPF’s are all tested at the company’s  factory in Southern California.
