Buford, Ga.-based Lund International was recently named 2013 Data Geek of the Year, an award given by RealTruck.com that recognizes vendors who provide strong data and development support.
“We appreciate this award and the recognition of Lund International’s commitment to not only be easy to do business with, but also invest in the technology and talent needed to support our customers and their businesses,” said Mitch Fogle, Lund president.
Lund has worked closely with RealTruck.com’s content, data and web development teams this year to implement EDI (electronic data interchange) that automated order- processing tasks that were previously completed manually, according to Fogle. RealTruck.com is an online retailer of pickup, car and SUV accessories.
“We can now provide real-time, more accurate updates resulting in a better end-user experience while allowing both teams to work more efficiently,” Fogle said.
Lund International was selected as the recipient for the award from a field of 190 vendors, according to Lund.
“As an E-commerce company, we have a tremendous focus on efficiently processing and sharing data with our many partners,” said Scott Bintz, RealTruck.com’s CEO. “Lund International has consistently gone above and beyond what we expect from the vendors. They’ve always been reliable and easy to work with, while helping us to deliver the best customer experience possible.”
