Chris Abelson of Sioux City, Iowa, recently headed to Vegas as the grand prize winner in a promotion from cylinder head and engine component company EngineQuest.
Abelson won a trip for two to attend IMCA’s Duel in the Desert season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Nov. 12-14 in the company’s “Head to Vegas” promotion, according to a press release.
This was the third year that EngineQuest sponsored the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Modified Tour, and the first year for the “Head to Vegas” promotion. The company is the exclusive supplier of the CH350I spec head for both IMCA Sport Mod and Hobby Stock classes.
Other “Head to Vegas” promotion winners included Barbara Lacien of Dyer, Ind. Her first place prize was a set of two high-performance EQ cylinder heads.
Second-prize winners received IMCA-branded prize packages.
