Engine Parts Group Inc., Wheat Ridge, Colo., has added a new member/shareholder in Australia and will now offer Engine Pro and other name brands of engine parts in the land down under.
Nason Engine Parts, based in Melbourne, joined EPGI at the group’s summer shareholders meeting, according to a press release. Nason, a warehouse distributor specializing in engine parts for more than 70 years, is the fastest-growing engine parts distributor in Australia.
The company has locations in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.
“Nason is a perfect fit for EPGI,” said Don Weber, Engine Parts Group president. “Like the other members, Nason is a warehouse distributor specializing in providing engine parts to professional engine builders and auto parts stores.”
Representing Nason at EPGI’s summer meeting was Antony Pearse, Nason’s general manager.
EPGI is made up of 10 independent engine parts distributors, and the group now operates 35 distribution centers serving machine shops, engine rebuilders and jobber customers throughout the U.S. and Australia. It also produces performance engine parts and components under the Engine Pro brand.
