Covercraft, AMP Research to host ‘Motorz’ celebrities at SEMA

Calif.-based companies, AMP Research and Covercraft, will have two celebrity guests from the automotive improvement show “Motorz” at their 2012 SEMA Show booths.

Chris Duke, executive producer and host of the show, and Olivia Korte, Motorz Girl and spokesmodel, will sign Motorz posters and help answer questions related to the installation and function of AMP and Covercraft products, according Motorz press releases.

At the AMP Research booth, attendees have the opportunity to sign up to be authorized dealers and earn a chance to win a wall-mounted display for the AMP Research PowerStep. The Covercraft booth will feature new products such as items from its Cover for Causes program for breast cancer awareness.

Duke and Korte will be at Covercraft’s booth (No. 23343) in the Center Hall from 1-3 p.m., Oct. 31, and at AMP’s booth (No. 34101) in the South Hall from 1-3 p.m., Nov. 1.

Before the SEMA Show, Duke, Korte and their crew will team up with Seiko Instruments USA and APE Wraps to transform a Mustang and film footage for an upcoming episode of “Motorz” at the SGIA Expo Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas.

According to a press release from Seiko and APE, the Motorz crew will help transform a stock 2010 Mustang GT by assisting with the application of full-body graphics, and installation of new Mickey Thompson Street Comp UHP street tires, new wheels and an array of appearance products from AmericanMuscle.com.

The Motorz crew will be on-site with Seiko Instruments and APE Wraps at booth No. 3713 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
