Company Acquires ATC Truck Covers, Ranch Fiberglass and More

LTA Manufacturing LLC has acquired Ranch Fiberglass, ATC Truck Covers and Jason Industries. LTA Manufacturing will handle the sales, marketing and manufacturing of all products for the three brands under its umbrella.

LTA is owned by the DeBruce Companies, whose founder, Paul DeBruce, had a philosophy of philanthropy and giving back to the community, according to the company.

Jason Industries, a producer of pickup caps and tonneau covers for 45 years, decided to exit the cap and tonneau business to focus entirely on the RV and marine industries, according to LTA Manufacturing. All Jason molds have been transferred to ATC Truck Covers’ Ottawa, Kansas facility where production has already begun.

Ranch Fiberglass is a producer of fiberglass truck caps and tonneau covers in Elkhart, Indiana. The molds and production from Ranch will remain in Indiana. Dustin Geyer, former president of Ranch Fiberglass, will be the new president and a shareholder of LTA Manufacturing LLC.

“The combination of Ranch, ATC and Jason will enable us to be more flexible and efficient,” said David Price, president of DeBruce Manufacturing Group, a subsidiary of DeBruce companies. “We will be able to ensure faster turnaround to our dealers and to their customers. So far, the transition has been seamless and will not affect delivery or lead time. We are very dedicated to providing the best service, and that is our goal with this integration. The acquisition of the three brands will expand our dealer network and our accessories line to increase sales.”

The diverse portfolio of DeBruce Companies is composed of private and public equity investments, as well as other asset class investments, across a broad range of industries, including biotech, energy, manufacturing, technology and real estate. The portfolio is designed to support the long-term objectives of the DeBruce Foundation. Founded in 1989, the foundation focuses on initiatives to expand opportunities for individuals and serves as a catalyst for innovative projects to solve problems faced by our community and our country.
