Although it’s often relatively easy to find restoration parts for popular models like the 1964 Impala, reproduction parts for less common later Impala models can be much more difficult to obtain, according to Classic Industries. In order to provide restorers with high-quality replacement parts for these later-model Impalas, Classic Industries now offers several new reproduction front end components from OER for the 1969 Impala.
The 1969 Impala parts include the upper grill, lower grill, and headlamp bezels, all of which faithfully recreate the original parts in every way, according to Classic Industries.
Each OER upper grill assembly is constructed of injection-molded polymer to exact factory specifications, and features correct silver paint with black accents. The lower grill assembly is also injection-molded and painted in correct silver and black finish, accurately matching the original GM part. Left- and right-hand headlamp bezels are also available for 1969 Impala and Full Size Chevy models. These bezels are injection-molded to continue the pattern and finish of the upper grill, and include attached headlamp extension panels for a factory-style fit.
The upper grill will not fit Caprice and Estate Wagon models with retractable headlamp covers, or SS 427 models, according to Classic Industries.
