Clinton, Mich.-based Champion Oil has teamed up with Speedway Motors to sponsor the Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Car Series presented by Hoseheads Sprint Car News.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Spring Car Series will award a total of $21,000 to the top 10 racers at the end of the season, which began Feb. 22 and runs through Nov. 15, according to Champion Oil.
The associate sponsors from last year’s season also have returned for 2014, with the exception of Schnee Chassis, which was replaced by Eagle Motorsports. The 2014 associate sponsors include Butler-Built Seats, Conroy “Pneu” Control, Bob Hilbert Sportswear, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Maxim Chassis, RAACE, Schnee Chassis, and Winters Performance Products.
This year’s series champion will receive $6,000, the second-place winner will receive $4,000, the third-place winner will receive $3,000 and the fourth-place winner will receive $2,000. Racers who place fifth through 10th will receive $1,000 each, according to Champion Oil.
