Bully Dog, Autero Team Up on P.O.P. Program

In an effort to support the companies that sell its products, Bully Dog Technologies has teamed up with warehouse distributor Autero to provide qualified jobbers with a free point-of-purchase display for their stores, along with product on consignment.

As part of the program, retailers pay nothing for the product if they don’t sell it, and can simply return it and keep the marketing materials, according to a press release.

The P.O.P. includes various in-store marketing items designed to draw traffic into the store and then, once inside, provide customers with information about Bully Dog products, including an interactive demonstration of the company’s Triple Dog GT programmer.

The unique P.O.P. can be sold off of the counter to the consumer. Simply remove the Triple Dog GT from the shipping box, plug a mini USB cable (supplied) into it and place it on the counter. It powers right up and goes into “demo” mode, which walks consumers through the various features of the GT and also allows for the buttons to be pressed to change screens and functions.

The company reports eight out of 10 jobbers that have placed the GT on their counter as a P.O.P. sold it within 72 hours, according to the release.

As an additional value, Bully Dog has added a “Preferred Dealer” listing on its dealer locator page on its website. As a preferred dealer, Bully Dog posts an image of each store on the listing. To become a Preferred Dealer, all retailers have to do is send in an image of the GT plugged in on its countertop.
