Medford, Ore.-based Bedslide/Takit recently created a commercial division and named Krissy McLauchlan to the position of director of commercial sales. The addition supports Bedslide’s renewed focus on commercial and fleet sales, according to the company.
“By developing this new channel, our goal is to tap into the commercial-specific customers and provide them with the best product and unparalleled customer service,” said Jason Ehrlich, Bedslide chief marketing officer. “Krissy’s promotion is a perfect fit for us. She is totally familiar with the players, the product and the process. Having her dedicated to specifically work with our customers in the commercial field will ensure improved sales, customer service and customer loyalty.”
Since joining Bedslide in 2009, McLauchlan has played an integral role as operations manager at its head offices in Medford. She has worked with all clients, including Bedslides’ fleet and commercial resellers, but now will focus her attention solely on commercial customers. McLaughlan also will work Bedslide developers to accommodate customers’ needs for product customization, according to Bedslide.
“Having the opportunity to focus completely on our commercial and fleet customers is really exciting,” McLauchlan said. “The commercial side of our business offers such great opportunity. From developing innovative new products, improving existing relationships, and partnering with new customers, I’m really looking forward to heading up this new division. We’re very good at commercial. My goal is to make it even better.”
