The content of a June 22 webinar on “Engine Bearing Materials and Failure Analysis” is now available from King Engine Bearings.
The webinar, sponsored by the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association, features Dmitri Kopeliovich, King’s research and development manager and metallurgical engineer, explaining the features and benefits of different bearing materials as they apply to specific engine applications, according to a press release.
In addition, he examines the main causes of engine bearing failures and explains how each breakdown can be resolved.
The PERA webinar is available for viewing at no charge. Visit www.kingbearings.com/tech_materials.php.
A respected authority on engine bearing research and development, Kopeliovich earned his Ph.D. in materials engineering and serves as the manager and team leader of King’s advanced materials research and development unit, the release stated. He’s extensively investigated the cause and prevention of premature engine bearing failure.
King produces high-performance engine bearings for circle track, drag racing, monster trucks, tractor pulls, off-road and off-shore racing applications, along with standard OE replacement bearings and bearings for the aviation market.
