Engine parts manufacturers including Engine Pro, MAHLE-Clevite, Melling Engine Group and Egge Machine Co. are sponsoring a new classic hot rod exhibit at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Mich.
The exhibit, called “American Legends: Hot Rods and Customs,” documents the classic era of hot rods from the late 1930s to the early 1960s. It features vehicles on loan from owners throughout the country, which are complemented by super-sized renditions of paintings by automotive artist Tom Fritz, according to Engine Parts Group.
One of the vehicles in the exhibit is the three-window 1932 Ford pictured on the Beach Boys’ 1963 album, “Little Deuce Coupe.”
Other major sponsors of the exhibit include AERA, Elgin Industries, Fel-Pro, Hastings Mfg., Milodon and Sealed Power.
