American Engineered is now part of the World/BMP group of companies.
Known for manufacturing premium-grade roller lifters and pushrods, American Engineered was founded as Precision American by William Nolan, who brings more than 40 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise to the new entity, according to a press release.
American Engineered’s products have been successful in NHRA competition with notable users including U.S. Nationals-winning Comp Eliminator driver Glen Tredwell, the release stated. Although its manufacturing facilities will remain in Deland, Fla., a new website, www.americanengineered.net, was launched.
The bodies of American Engineered roller lifters are made from 300M alloy steel and have a 0.397 axle and 23-needle bearings. The company also manufactures heavy wall-forged pushrods in 5/16-, 3/8- and 7/17-inch diameters that come in 0.050-inch increments for a wide variety of applications.
