AirDesign USA in July will launch its Street Series with a custom styling kit for the 2017 Chevy Silverado. The kit will exclusively be available through Keystone Automotive Operations and Chevy Silverado dealers.
AirDesign will debut a Street Series kit for the 2018 F-150 at the SEMA Show.
“We think that the street truck is coming back,” said Billy Longfellow, vice president of design and engineering for AirDesign USA. “Truck suspensions have been going up for years—now is time to go back down.”
The Silverado kit—featured in the above animated video—includes a front air dam, side skirts, rear lower skirt, rear wing, and rear applique. All parts come in satin black.
“We try and keep the belt line low so users can place a 3/4-inch accent stripe along the side if they want,” Longfellow said.
The animated video produced by AirDesign USA showcasing the new Silverado Street Series kit includes 22-inch rims and a lowered suspension, as well as Borla Exhaust’s new Trapezoid Tips, which are not available with the kit. AirDesign USA utilized scan data of the 2017 Silverado by SEMA Garage to help design the kit, as well produce the above animated video.
