The SEMA Product Development Conference on Feb. 7, 2013 in Diamond Bar, Calif., will give SEMA manufacturing members the opportunity to learn first-hand how new software, surface scanning tools and related technology are being used to improve the product development process.
“Technology has advanced tremendously in the last couple of years,” said Jamie Eriksen, SEMA education director, in a press release. “It’s easier and more affordable than ever for manufacturers to take advantage of the tools that are available. The SEMA Product Development Conference will give an overview of the latest tools that can help manufacturers get products to market faster and more cost efficiently.”
During the Product Development Conference’s Race to Innovate event, participants will meet with suppliers who will explain how technologies and tools are rapidly changing the way products are conceived and delivered to the market. Manufacturing participants will also have the opportunity to measure the 2013 Ford Ranger T6 and the 2013 Toyota Hilux during the event.
