Old cars, new money.
Fuel systems company Aeromotive Inc. is posting a serious payout for the Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car class winner at the upcoming 24th California Hot Rod Reunion to be held at Auto Club Famoso Raceway Oct. 22 -25.
The winner of the Nitro Funny Car class at the Reunion using an Aeromotive Inc. Terminator fuel pump purchased from Good Vibrations Motorsports will receive a $2,500 cash payout immediately following the event.
“We’ve been seeing a tremendous growth in our nostalgia business since partnering with Jim Maher at Good Vibrations,” said Vic Wood, Aeromotive VP and general manager. “Not only are Funny Car owners and Top Fuel crew chiefs changing over to our Terminator fuel pump, but we are seeing 7.0 Pro racers like NHRA Heritage Series World Champion Bobby Cottrell making the switch to the Aeromotive Inc. Atomic line of pumps for their supercharged (entries) and our electric pumps for naturally aspirated fuel systems.”
Over 30 nitro Funny Cars are expected at the California Hot Rod Reunion, with racers like Ryan Hodgson, Alex Miladinovich, Marc Meadors and past DRO Funny Car Challenge Champion John Hale and others already utilizing the Aeromotive Inc. 20.9 GPM Terminator fuel pump, the company noted.
Good Vibrations Motorsports is a stocking dealer for Aeromotive Inc. fuel system products and recently began carrying the Phantom line of electric pumps as well as A1000 and A3000 pumps and regulators for all horsepower applications.
