‘Jerry Seinfeld Collection’ to Demand Amelia Island Spotlight

Gooding & Co. will be handling the sale of cars owned by comedian Jerry Seinfeld in an auction accompanying the Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance in Florida on March 11.

The the collection will be showcased during the Gooding & Co.  Scottsdale, Arizona auction beginning on Jan. 27. The cars on display will include a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder that’s expected to bring up to $6 million, a 1958 Porsche 356A 1500 GS/HT Carrera Spyder estimated to be worth $2.3 million, and a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR that could fetch $1.5 million, according to the auctioneers.

Seinfeld said “I’ve never bought a car as an investment. I don’t really even think of myself as a collector. I just love cars. And I still love these cars, but it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.”
