Goodguys has announced that it will once again feature the Young Guys parking area at all 21 of its events in 2011.
This special parking area is designed to showcase the builds of males and females that are 25 years of age or younger.
2011 will mark the 16th year that Goodguys will devote a special area that’s dedicated to the young rodders at its shows.
“The Young Guys Program has always been popular with all generations at our events,” said Harry Daviess, Goodguys vice president of event operations.
“The young rodders dig having their own parking area and the older generations dig seeing the young guys with all their enthusiasm show off and care for their cars. It adds a lot to our events.”
Rodders that are 25 years of age or younger can simply come to an event in their car, register and then drive into the Young Guys area on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon, according to the Goodguys website.
All Young Guys will receive a window placard, a dash plaque and a decal, in addition to a free one-year Goodguys membership.
All Young Guys entrants will have a chance to win the “Young Guys Pick” and participate in the award programs held on Sundays at each of the events.
