Goodguys is hosting the 5th Peak Chicagoland Nationals at the Chicagoland Speedway Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Joliet, Illinois. The event will welcome over 1,500 hot rods, customs, street machines, muscle cars and classic trucks through 1972 competing for awards including Ford in a Ford, Speedway Motors’ Homebuilt Pick, Meguiar’s Magnificent Masterpiece Award, Flowmaster’s American Thunder Award and Young Guys Pick. The Chicagoland Nationals will also feature the Goodguys Autocross, a swap meet, a cars-for-sale corral, a model and pedal car show and special track cruises. The 54th Annual Antique & Classic Car Meet takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Stowe, Vermont. The event is expected to draw thousands of classic car aficionados who will view hundreds of cars, a flea market, car corral and automobile parade. The New Hope Automobile Show takes place Saturday and Sunday at New Hope-Solebury High School in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The show is limited to 250 authentic cars, trucks and motorcycles per day that will be judged in more than 40 classes. In most divisions, judging guidelines and standards follow those generally accepted by nationally recognized owners groups such as the AACA. In marque divisions, the standards are usually those of the marque’s owners club.
