Spend this spring weekend at a car show, such as Goodguys’ Del Mar Nationals. Events like this, and the six others detailed below, provide great opportunities to show off your best work, meet new customers and support community organizations.

The first Twilight Cruise of 2013 will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona, California. Hosted by Cal-Rods Car Club, the event will run from 4-8 p.m. and is open to all 1970-and-earlier rods, customs, classics and muscle cars. A free NHRA driver autograph session and FanFest will be held on Thursday, April 4 at the New York New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event will kick off the NHRA Nationals weekend, which will take place at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event on Thursday will include autograph signings from 6-8 p.m., a driver question-and-answer session, music and door prizes. The 11th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction takes place Thursday, April 4- Saturday, April 6 at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, Florida. About 400 classic cars, exotics, muscle cars, hot rods and collectible cars are scheduled to cross the auction block at the event, including a Ford F-150 truck that once belonged to former President George W. Bush, and a one-of-one Chrysler Town & Country Roadster. The event will also include several Ride ‘N’ Drives, car care seminars by Meguiar’s, vendors and more. Goodguys will present its 13th Del Mar Nationals, Friday, April 5- Sunday, April 7 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. The event will feature 2,500 pre-1973 hot rods, customs, muscle cars and trucks on display, as well as a special indoor display of all makes, years and models of American-made or American-powered show cars and trucks. Other event highlights will include the All-American Sunday, Goodguys Autocross, a Cars-4-Sale Corral, a swap meet, vendors, the Goodguys Nitro Thunderfest, a model car and pedal car show, live music, food and beverage vendors, activities for kids and more. The 39th Annual Piston Ring World of Wheels takes place Friday, April 5-Sunday, April 7 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The event will include celebrity guest appearances, a special display of nostalgia race cars and vintage dragsters, the Ms. World of Wheels Pageant on Saturday, “The Goat Farm” exhibit featuring a display of classic GTOs and a special display of surf cars. In addition, the event will also feature CycleRama in which motorcycles will compete in different categories for prizes, cash and trophies. The Orlando Bowtie Club will present its Big 3 Mopar Car Show on Saturday, April 6 at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida. The car show is open to all year of vehicles, until the pre-1975 cruise begins. Trophies will be awarded to the Top 25 participants, and dash plaques and goody bags will be given to the first 100 participants. The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing of York Springs, Pennsylvania will host its Spring Open House on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. Saturday will feature tributes to the late Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins and Ken Montgomery, as well as a silent auction and the “Kackling Thunder” event. On Sunday, the Museum will showcase its new sports car and motorcycle exhibits, and pay tribute to Dick Snare. There will also be an auction and raffles held on Sunday.
