Get into the holiday spirit a little early by attending a car show that supports a great local cause. Events this weekend include the 7th Annual Festivals of Speed Orlando and the So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento 2nd Annual Christmas Party. Information on these and eight additional shows is listed below. The Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The 7th Annual Festivals of Speed Orlando takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, in Orlando, Florida. The event kicks off Friday evening with a reception inside an aircraft hangar that will feature a display of vintage aircraft, exotic automobiles, custom motorcycles and high-performance boats. Saturday will feature a special wine connoisseurs’ dinner. Sunday is the motorsports collection display, which will feature vintage and contemporary vehicles, custom motorcycles, and race boats. The 23rd Annual East Coast Indoor Nationals takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland. The show will feature 300 of the region’s finest antiques, street rods, customs, muscle cars, nostalgia rods, hot rods, nostalgia drag cars and custom motorcycles, according to organizers. Display vehicles will compete for $10,000 in cash and awards in the street driven and show classes. The show will also feature vendors, Santa Claus, a DJ and auctions. The Petersen Automotive Museum is hosting two special events Saturday in Los Angeles, California. The Annual Old Mill Marketplace Auto/Cycle Show and Swap Meet takes place Saturday in Canton, Texas. The “Boys in Blue” Car Show takes place Saturday at the Mesa Marketplace in Mesa, Arizona. Trophies will be presented and all registered vehicles will be eligible for door prizes.
