The GS Nationals takes place Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The event will feature a judged car show open to 1965-precent GS hardtops and convertibles. Non-Buick vehicles can be displayed but won’t be judged. The 35th Annual Run to the Sun takes place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Lake Havasu, Arizona. The event will feature a poker run, show-and-shine, car corral, cruise, swap meet, vendors, awards presentation, parade and gatherings. The event is open to 1972-and-older cars and trucks. The 21st NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway in McFarland, California. Presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, the event is the place to be to reunite with racing legends and relive the golden era of drag racing when names like “Big Daddy”, “The Snake” and “Mongoose” became hometown heroes, according to organizers. The California Hot Rod Reunion is also the last stop in the 2012 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series Racing Series. “TV Tommy” Ivo will serve as the event’s grand marshal. Clean Cut Creations hosts the Halloween Car Cruise, Shelter Dog Supply Drive & Drive-In Movie Saturday in Webster Groves, Missouri. Custom, classic and collector vehicles will enjoy drive-in-style parking at the event; all others are invited to bring blankets and chairs to watch the movie. The movie starts at dusk and will be announced soon. The event will feature a Trunk or Treat for costumed kids. The Seminole Casino Immokalee’s Hot Rod Show takes place Saturday in Immokalee, Florida. Trophies will be presented to the top 10 hot rods. The 8th Annual Charity Car Show & Family Fun Day takes place Sunday at Berkeley College in Paramus, New Jersey.
