Show off your latest projects, connect with new customers and support local causes at a car show this weekend. Events being held this weekend include the NSRA 24th Annual Southeast Street Rod Nationals Plus and the Toys for Tots Charity Car Show and Cruise at the Volo Auto Museum. The NHRA Motorsports Museum hosts the latest in its series of Prolong Twilight Cruises Wednesday in Pomona, California. The cruise is open to 1970-and-ealier rods, customs, classics and muscle cars. It will feature Celebrity Picks, raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Vehicles chosen as a Celebrity Pick will win the opportunity to parade down the Auto Club Pomona Raceway on Sunday morning during the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Winternationals in February. The NSRA hosts the 24th Annual Southeast Street Rod Nationals Plus Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Florida Start Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. The event will feature a vintage car show, manufacturer and dealer displays, and a swap meeting. For more information, visit http://nsra-usa.com.

Rods n’ Rockets 2012 takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The event will feature car shows, cruises, a drive-in, an awards ceremony, and a tour of the vehicle assembly building and launch complex at the space center. The Vicari Auction Co. hosts its 16th Annual Biloxi Auction Friday and Saturday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. More than 400 classic and muscle cars will be up for bid during the auction, including a 1970 Mustang Mach I Super Cobra Jet, a 1953 Chevy Corvette, a 1932 T Bucket, a 1955 Ford Thunderbird and a 1934 Ford two-door sedan. The Palmetto Nationals takes place Friday and Saturday at the Darlington Dragway in Hartsville, South Carolina. The event will feature a car show, racing and vendors. The 6th Annual Monster’s Ball takes place Saturday in Rogers, Arkansas. The car show is open to all vehicles, including classics, late-models, trucks, 4x4s, low riders, imports, tuners, bikes and trikes. Organizers suggest making costumes for your vehicle. Trophies will be presented. The event will also include adult, kid and pet costume contests. There will be a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Humane Society for Animals of Benton County. Fast Cars & Freedom 2012 takes place Saturday in McLean, Virginia. The fifth annual charity car show is open to all years, makes and models of American cars. It will feature music, raffle prizes and concessions. Proceeds will benefit Fisher House, which serves the families of veterans receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Toys for Tots Charity Car Show and Cruise takes place Sunday, leaving from two different locations and arriving at the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois. The car show will feature the unveiling of The Green Hornet’s Black Beauty, as well as a live band, cookout and beer garden. The 4th Annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase takes place Sunday in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, California. The event will showcase high-performance automobiles ranging from traditional classics to luxury modern vehicles.
