The Food Lion AutoFair takes place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The event will feature thousands of vehicles on display, including nearly 1,500 vehicles for sale. Carroll Shelby will be honored during the course of the AutoFair with vehicles including ACE Bristol, 289 Cobra, 427 Cobra, 1966 GT350, 1967 GT350, 1968 GT500 King of the Road, 2006 GTH (Hertz) (40th Anniversary Shelby), 2007 GTH (Hertz), 2007 GT500, 2008 GT500 King of the Road, 2008 GT-C, CSX 4000 427 Cobra and Sunbeam Tiger to be featured in a special display. Goodguys presents the 2nd WIX Filters Speedway Nationals Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis. The event will feature over 2,500 rods, customs and classics through 1972 competing for awards including the 2012 Hot Rod of the Year and 2012 Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist. The event will also include a poker run, Goodguys AutoCross, an Indy 500 track cruise, model and pedal car show, swap meets, Cars 4 Sale Corral, and commercial exhibits. NSRA presents the Northeast Street Rod Nationals Plus Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, Vermont. Cruzin’ for Life takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Santa Maria Fairpark in Santa Maria, California. The event kicks off Friday with a family carnival, ’60s dance and car show meet-and-greet. Saturday features the all makes and models car show, a survivor cruise, trophy presentations, carnival, live entertainment dinner and silent auction. The event concludes Sunday with a concert hosted by Candy Clark featuring Los Lobos, Dave Mason and Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats. Proceeds from the event benefit Marian Cancer Care, The American Cancer Society’s Camp Reach for the Stars and The Young Cancer Survivors Scholarship Fund. The Lingenfelter Performance Nationals takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The International Route 66 Mother Road Festival takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Springfield, Illinois. The 13th Annual Cruisin’ For A Cure car show takes place Saturday at the OC Fair & Events Center in Costa Mesa, California. The show is expected to attract over 3,400 custom and classic vehicles. The Petit Jean Mountain Car Show and Shine takes place Saturday at The Museum of Automobiles in Morrilton, Arkansas.
