Goodguys’ 12th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. The event will feature over 2,000 hot rods, customs and classics through 1972 competing for awards including 2012 Street Rod d’Elegance, 2012 Kustom of the Year Finalist and PPG Dream Car. The show will also feature Goodguys AutoCross, a swap meet, Cars 4 Sale Corral, model and pedal car show, special vehicle displays, seminars, vendors and concessions. World of Wheels Boston takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The event will feature hot rods, customs, trucks and motorcycles competing for over $27,500 in cash and trophies in categories including Best Rod, Best Custom, Outstanding Restored and Outstanding Competition. The Daytona Spring Turkey Run takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The event will feature a car show, car corral, swap meet, craft vendors and concessions. Organizers expect over 3,000 cars to be displayed on the speedway’s infield during the course of the event. Festivals of Speed takes place Saturday and Sunday in St. Petersburg, Florida. The event will feature a special display celebrating the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet, as well as luxury vehicle displays, a powerboat poker run and live entertainment. For more information, click here.
Hot Cars, Harleys & Hooters takes place Saturday at Kingwood Harley-Davidson in Kingwood, Texas. Trophies will be presented to winners in the street rod, custom, late-model, motorcycle, Corvette, pre-war, post-war and pickup classes, as well as for People’s Choice and Best of Show. Pi Tau Sigma at North Carolina State University will host the 3rd Annual Howlin’ Car & Bike Show Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event, which takes place on top of the Partner’s Way parking deck, will feature awards presentations in categories including best in show and best classic car. Kicklinger Academy presents the 4th Revved Up for Autism Car, Truck & Bike Show Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Savannah, Georgia. The show is open to all years, makes and models of vehicles, including classic cars, muscle cars, custom cars, hot rods, choppers, trucks and street bikes. Twenty-five trophies will be awarded in categories including Top Car and Kids’ Choice. The event will also feature a DJ, bounce house, Velcro wall, concessions, raffles and vendors. The Eighth Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance takes place Sunday at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla, California. The event will feature domestic and import cars, trucks and motorcycles dating back to the early 1900s competing for awards in eight classes. The event will also feature vendors and special exhibits. The Long Island Cars Collectible & Custom Car Show and Swap Meet takes place Sunday at MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, New York. The event will feature a judged car show, vendors, car corral and swap meet. Original Parts Group Inc. hosts its 30th Anniversary Car Show Sunday in Seal Beach, California. The car show is open only to Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, GTO, Tempest, LeMans, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Catalina, Cutlass, Skylark, Riviera and Cadillac models from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
