Step out into the crisp autumn air this weekend and attend one of the many car shows being held around the country, like Goodguys 14th Southwest Nationals or the National Law Enforcement Memorial Car Show. Goodguys presents the 14th Southwest Nationals Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Westworld of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event will feature over 2,000 rods, customs, classics and muscle cars through 1972 competing for awards including the Judy Murray Memorial Award and PPG Dream Car. The Leake Auction Co. presents the Dallas 2011 Car Show & Auction Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Dallas Market Hall in Dallas. The event will feature over 500 collector cars, trucks and motorcycles on display and up for bid. For more information, visit www.leakecar.com.

The Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The Carvers Creek Fireman’s Association presents the Hot Stuff Car Show Saturday in Fayetteville, North Carolina. First- and second-place awards will be presented in 15 classes for classics, customs, street rods, pickup trucks and imports from the 1900s to the 1970s. Awards will also be presented for Best in Show, Firefighters’ Choice and Cub Scouts’ Choice. The show will also feature barbecue, games and kids’ activities. The 23rd Annual San Jose Classic Chevy Club Toy/Food Drive Car Show takes place Saturday in San Jose, California. Entrants to the open rain-or-shine car show are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy or non-perishable food items that will be donated to local charities. The National Law Enforcement Memorial Car Show takes place Saturday at Riverfront Park in Daytona Beach, Florida. Awards will be presented for classic, vintage and muscle cars. The Pink Heals Classic Car Show takes place Sunday at Toyota of Deerfield Beach in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The event will feature trophy presentations, food trucks and kids’ activities.
