Whether your ideal weekend involves cruising along coastal highways or crunching through streets covered with autumn leaves, the right car show for you is taking place this weekend, such as the 15th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast, which is winding its way along Mississippi’s Gulf Coast, or the 8th Annual One Room School Car Show, taking place at an Ohio dairy that’s also hosting haunted wagon rides. The 15th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast continues through Sunday along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The weeklong cruise covers 30 miles with stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport and Ocean Springs. The event will feature cruise-ins, parades, a swap meet, an auto auction, a car corral, a car show, live entertainment, a sock hop, drawings and awards presentation. The 6th Annual Festivals of Speed Orlando takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Orlando, Florida. The event kicks off Friday with a reception at Orlando International Airport. Saturday features a golf classic at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes and a wine connoisseurs’ dinner at Primo Restaurant in the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Festivals of Speed takes place Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, which will showcase all makes and models of vintage and contemporary vehicles, custom motorcycles and race boats. The 17th Annual Pow Wow at the Beach takes place Friday and Saturday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The event kicks off Friday evening with a cruise-in. The car show takes place Saturday and is open to Pontiacs, GMCs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs. The event is hosted by the Palmetto Chapter of the Pontiac/Oakland Club International and the SC Tigers GTO Association Chapter of GTOAA. The Northwest Missouri Car Show and Fall Festival take place Saturday and Sunday in Bethany, Missouri. The Fall Festival takes place Saturday and will feature a flea market, food vendors, citywide garage sale, sidewalk sales, quilt show, live performances and street dance. Clean Cut Creations is hosting its Fall Swap Meet and Yard Sale Saturday in Webster Groves, Missouri. The sale will feature items including auto parts, handbags, shoes, clothes, collectibles, oil paintings, handmade jewelry. Proceeds will benefit Senior Dogs 4 Seniors. The 8th Annual One Room School Car Show takes place Saturday at Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Fifty awards will be presented at the show, including Best of Show, 14 other special awards and Top 35. The show will also feature a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and music. Proceeds will benefit the school, its students and student activities. Young’s Jersey Dairy’s pumpkin patch is open for those interested in picking their own pumpkin during the day and it’s also hosting Haunted Wagon Rides Saturday night. The Retro Power Hot Rod Gathering takes place Saturday in Liberty, Texas.
