Manufacturers, car clubs and community organizations around the country are hosting car shows and events this weekend that will give your shop the opportunity to show of your projects, connect with new customers and support great causes. The 35th Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral and sixth Spring Carlisle Auction run through Sunday at the fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The swap meet and car corral will feature vehicle parts, accessories, memorabilia and collector cars available for sale throughout the fairground’s 150 acres. NSRA presents the Western Street Rod Nationals Plus, which takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California. The event will feature car displays, vendor exhibits, drawings, NSRA safety inspections, technical seminars, drawings, kids’ activities and awards presentations. The Cowboys and Chrome Car Show, part of the Real Texas Festival, takes place Friday and Saturday in Mesquite, Texas. Cars and motorcycles will be judged within decade, make and specialty group classes, and trophies will be awarded to first-place and runner-up vehicles. The 6th Annual Miller Grove Volunteer Fire Department Spring Fling Car and Motorcycle Show takes place Saturday in Miller Grove, Texas. Ninety-nine trophies will be presented in 30 car, truck and motorcycle classes at the show. The show will also feature giveaways, an auction, music, barbecue, contests and kids’ activities. Booze, Broads & Hot Rods takes place Saturday in Brisbane, California. The pre-1965 car show will feature Kustom Kulture vendors, burlesque performances, DJ sets, live music and raffles. The 20th annual United Way Bud Classic Car Showtakes place Saturday at Anheuser-Busch’s Houston brewery. The event will feature more than 300 classic cars of all makes, models, years and colors. The event is free to spectators and will also include a charity auction to benefit United Way. Also on display will be the Texan’s Truck, Bud Light Hummer, the Shock Top Volkswagen and the Pro Street 55, courtesy of Silver Eagle Distributing. The Rev’ved Up 4 Kids Car Show takes place Sunday at Vic’s Garage in Torrance, California. The event will benefit The Center for Learning Unlimited and is presented by Edelbrock. The car show will feature the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow engine building contest for teens, live music, kids’ activities, manufacturer displays, food and a beer garden. Rev’ved Up 4 Kids also provides car enthusiasts the opportunity to tour Vic’s Garage, which is only open to the public for this one day each year. It features a collection of classic autos including Vic Edelbrock Sr.‘s original 1932 Ford Roadster, a prime selection from Hot Wheels and a collection of movie vehicles. The 21st Annual Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show takes place Sunday in Half Moon Bay, California. The show will feature more than 2,000 antique, vintage, classic, custom and exotic vehicles on display, as well as vintage aircraft and motorcycles. The Bull Run Street Rods’ 30th Rod Run takes place Sunday at the Nokesville Rd. Burger King in Manassas, Virginia. The Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance takes place Sunday in Beverly Hills, California. Organizers anticipate 150 vintage automobiles and motorcycles will be displayed on the grounds of the historic mansion. The event will also feature vendors selling automobilia, books, fine art, jewelry, fashions and antiques. Industry experts will be hosting seminars, and tours of the mansion will be offered.
