The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, Pomona, Calif., presented by Automobile Club of Southern California, announced the return of its monthly Twilight Cruise Night presented by Prolong Super Lubricants.
The Cruise Nights will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, April 3-Dec. 4, from 4-8 p.m. with free museum admission after 3 p.m., according to a news release from the NHRA Motorsports Museum.
Open to the public and cruisers, Cruise Nights include family friendly festivities such as music, food vendors and raffle prizes.
Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in the special end-of-the-year Grand Prize Drawing featuring a California Hot Rod Reunion Getaway Package, an Auto Club NHRA Finals Weekend Package and a Smith-Million Union 76/Mobil Gasoline Tanker Collector Truck with all proceeds benefiting the museum.
In addition, Gale Banks Engineering has partnered with the museum to offer “Tech Talks,” a series of monthly educational automotive seminars with industry leaders, in conjunction with the Cruise Nights. Free and open to all Cruise Night guests, the first topics will be “Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow-How does an Engine Really Work” on April 3 and “Air Superiority-The Importance of Air Density” on May 1.
The 2013 Prolong Twilight Cruise dates are: April 3, May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Oct. 2, Nov.6 and Dec. 4.
