Transmission & Clutch Products & Technologies to Be Discussed in Education & Training Day Seminars

Five transmission and clutch manufacturers will be presenting seminars during the Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show‘s Education & Training Day, held March 22 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. These seminars, detailed below, will cover topics including product selection and applications.

Lokar will host the seminar “Lokar Examines a Quarter Century of Quality Products!” during Session 2, from 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. The company will take attendees through the history of Lokar’s products, their sustainability and the impact they’ve had, and continue to have, on the various niche markets.

Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) hosts “From Muscle to Modern: Choosing the Right Clutch” during Session 3, from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. During the seminar, company representatives will provide the basics of choosing the right clutch for a customer’s project vehicle.

Session 3 will also feature the Bowler Performance Transmissions seminar “Benefits of Modern Transmissions.” This seminar will cover popular overdrive transmissions and controllers, as well as common problems and solutions.

Powertrain Control Solutions presents “Modern Transmission Controls for Hot Rods” during Session 5, from 1:45 p.m. -2:45 p.m. During the session, company representatives will show attendees how electronic automatic transmissions can be made simple for their customers’ hot rods.

TCI Automotive will host “6-Speed for Any Engine with Management” during Session 6, from 3 p.m. -4 p.m. During the seminar, attendees will learn how to make a six-speed fit any engine with the correct management system.
