Chicagoland-based hot rod and restoration shop The Tin Man’s Garage will be hosting a live metal shaping demonstration right on the show floor of the 2012 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show.
New for 2012, the demo will be held in the shop’s booth (No. 751) and will show attendees how metal-shaping techniques such as buck building, pattern making and pullman can be used on a variety of materials.
The demonstrations will be held at the following times: Friday, March 23 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
Metal shaping experts from The Tin Man’s Garage will be demonstrating how to use professional power equipment instead of an English wheel. They’ll also be answering questions from attendees during the demonstrations.
The Tin Man’s Garage frequently hosts metal shaping workshops at its Elburn, Illinois, facility.
The demonstrations presented at the HRR Trade Show will show part of what the shop teaches attendees at its full-length, two-day workshops. To learn more about these workshops, click here.
