St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Car Shows & Events Roundup

Enjoy the longer days and spend this St. Patrick’s Day weekend at a car show, where you can try your luck competing for awards with your latest builds while connecting with new customers and supporting community organizations. Car shows and events being held this weekend are the Goodguys Spring Lone Star Nationals and World of Wheels Winnipeg. Details on these and eight additional shows are shared below. Goodguys Spring Lone Star Nationals takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. The event will feature over 2,000 rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks through 1972 competing for awards including Custom Rod of the Year Finalist and Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist. World of Wheels Winnipeg takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Winnipeg Convention Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The event will feature hot rods, customs, trucks and motorcycles competing for over $17,000 in cash awards. Rats & Tatts Atomic Blast takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Gulfport, Mississippi. The Fifth Annual Shamrock Show & Poker Run takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in North Carolina. The Poker Run is Friday at the SeaScape Bar & Grill in Kitty Hawk. The car, truck and bike show is Saturday in Kill Devil Hills. A group breakfast and viewing of Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Sunday in Nags Head. The Beer, Bait & Red Dirt 2012 festival takes place Friday and Saturday at Jack Mountain Amphitheater in Diggins, Missouri. In addition to live music, a fishing tournament, vendors and concessions, the event will feature a car show. Cash prizes will be presented to the top vehicles in three categories-classics, hot rods and trucks. Billetproof Florida takes place Saturday at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala, Florida. The event showcases traditional-style hot rods and customs that are built on a limited budget. Classic Performance Products (CPP) will be hosting the CPP Open House on Saturday in Anaheim, California.
