SEMA is asking members to submit nominations for its Board of Directors by this Thursday, January 7. “With constant legislative challenges, the economic crisis and rapid shifts in technology and consumer needs, the specialty-equipment industry- now more than ever- needs strong, visionary leadership,” an association statement said.
“SEMA’s 2010 Board of Directors Nominating Committee is seeking the industry’s most-talented leaders and is requesting that individuals nominate them for a seat on the SEMA Board of Directors.
Members can submit their nominations to https://secure.sema.org/forms/bodnom.aspx
“Our industry has many talented individuals, but oftentimes those talents aren’t immediately apparent to the committee that is responsible for selecting the final candidates,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO, in an e-mail sent to association members. “So please, take a moment now to tell us about whom you would recommend as a potential nominee. We also welcome self-nominations; they often contain the best information because we receive background, experience and visionary information straight from the source.”
