Secure a Chainsaw on the Go

Jun 26, 2013

Mac’s Tie Downs, a manufacturer of tie-down systems for trailers and truck beds based in Sagle, Ohio, has released a product design to keep chainsaws safe and secure while driving. Whether mounted to a headache rack, tool box or inside of a truck, the Chainsaw Scabbard can be used on bikes, Jeeps, ATVs and trucks.

The scabbard keeps chainsaws safe and secure regardless of the size or bar length. The chainsaw bar simply slides into the scabbard and is clamped down, so both the bar and chain are protect from damage while in transit, according to Mac’s Tie Downs.

Constructed from aluminum and powder-coated for maximum durability, the scabbard has a universal design that can be mounted to a variety of different surfaces at a variety of different angles. The product comes with a master lock for security. An optional 90-degree mounting bracket that provides more freedom of alternative mounting positions also is available.
