Former Goodguys Trendsetter award winners Mike and Jim Ring of Ringbrothers, and Phil and Jeremy Gerber of The Roadster Shop will select the Goodguys Builder’s Choice awards at the 15th PPG Nationals July 6-8 in Columbus, Ohio, the association has announced.
Operating out of Spring Green, Wisconsin, Ringbrothers is a two-time Goodguys Street Machine of the Year winner and has had cars place in the top five at Columbus numerous times.
Known for cutting-edge design and impeccable build quality, according to Goodguys, Ringbrothers has also notched multiple Mother’s Shine awards at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and won the first Golden Builder Award at the 2011 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show.
Phil and Jeremy Gerber, the driving forces behind The Roadster Shop in Mundelein, Illinois, have been honored nationwide for their modern designs, expert engineering and flawless, almost production-like build quality, according to Goodguys.
Like Ringbrothers, The Roadster Shop has built two Goodguys Street Machine of the Year winners, and offers a complete line of muscle car, street rod and truck chassis and other components.
The Goodguys 15th PPG Nationals Builder’s Choice special parking area will be open for participants Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7.
All cars considering a run for the Goodguys 2012 Classic Instruments Street Rod of the Year and the Goodguys 2012 Optima Batteries Street Machine of the Year are required to park in the Builder’s Choice area both Friday and Saturday.
