RideTech has announced that it will be bringing its outdoor display trailer to the upcoming 2011 NSRA Street Rod Nationals and that its technicians will measure any vehicle brought to the company’s outdoor booth through the “Weigh Your Rod” promotion.
RideTech’s tech staff will use Intercomp racing scales to measure vehicles at the event, which will be held Aug. 4-7 in Louisville, Kentucky.
After vehicles are measured, the technicians will use the data to calculate recommended spring rates and appropriate RideTech part numbers for numbers to enhance ride quality. Coil over recommendations and car weights will be printed and given to each participant, all of which will be free of charge.
“This will be a great opportunity for anyone curious about coilovers or improving their ride quality,” representatives from RideTech said in a press release. “It is also a great way for RideTech to introduce its new mono-tube impact-forged aluminum coil overs to the street rodding market.”
In addition to the free vehicle weighing, RideTech will be displaying the 2011 Ridler Award-winning 1956 Ford owned by Bruce Ricks. The car, which features RideTech’s Shockwaves, will be displayed on a lift at the company’s indoor booth.
For those unable to attend the Louisville event, RideTech has introduced its new Spring Rate Calculator, which is available on its website. The calculator is designed to help rodders find the correct approximate spring rate for their coil-over applications. To use the online Spring Rate Calculator, click here.
