The Petersen Automotive Museum of Los Angeles has announced that it will be hosting a special two-day celebration in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Corvette.
The event will include a Corvette Value Seminar on Friday, March 1, from 10:30 a.m.-noon in which Corvette owners can learn the value of their vehicle.
Friday’s schedule will also include a Corvette Racing Panel Discussion from 2:00-3:30 p.m that will feature several racing icons discussing the history of the Corvette.
On Friday night, the Museum will host the Corvette 60th Anniversary Gala which will include dinner, cocktails, an auction and a panel discussion with some of the biggest names in Corvette history, according to the Museum.
Saturday, March 2 will feature a car show in the Museum’s parking structure from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., and a Corvette Restoration Seminar from 10:30 a.m.- noon, in which pro builders will offer tips and tricks for restoring a Corvette.
The Petersen Museum will also be presenting a special Corvette exhibit that will feature 20 historic Corvettes from all eras, as well as Corvette concept cars.
The exhibit will run from February 27-March 31 and is included as part of the price of admission to the Museum.
