The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona, California, will host a panel discussion featuring many legendary racing celebrities on Saturday, April 21, as part of its Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion (FCSR) event.
Parnelli Jones, who’s slated to serve as grand marshall of the event, will join other racing legends, as well as many former employees of Shelby American, to discuss “the good old days” of racing.
“We have a great line up of racing celebrities for our FCSR Panel Discussion,” Tony Thacker, event director, said in a press release. “Grand Marshal Parnelli Jones will be joined by Bob Bondurant, Pete Brock, Jerry Grant, Sherry MacDonald and John Morton-all of whom played an important role in the birth of the Cobra legend.”
The panel discussion is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 2 p.m. inside the NHRA Motorsports Museum’s Hall of Champions.
The cost of admission is $20. Proceeds will benefit the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and the Carroll Shelby Foundation.
The panel discussion is just one of the many events scheduled to take place during the museum’s Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion.
The two-day event will also include special displays, a show-and-shine and a banquet honoring Caroll Shelby.
