Burning up the Beaches takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The event is open to all cars and will include cruises, awards presentations, dyno racing and live music. The Fabulous Beach Party at The Swamp takes place Saturday night and will feature live music, food, drinks and the drawdown to $5,000 in cash and prizes. The Les Schwab Classy Chassis Parade & Car Show takes place Friday and Saturday in East Wenatchee, Washington. The event begins Friday with an evening parade, beginning on the corner of Third and Georgia Streets. The Stray Kat 500 takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Dewey, Oklahoma. Friday will feature the Reliability Run to Prairie Song and an evening reception. Saturday will include the car show, screenings of hot rod movies and live music. Sunday features the car show, judging, a blessing of the rides and awards ceremony. The Coldwater Swap Meet & Car Show takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Branch County Fairgrounds in Coldwater, Michigan. The annual Mother’s Day weekend event will feature over 1,600 show cars, over 100 show motorcycles and over 300 vendors, according to show organizers. A cruise through downtown Coldwater will begin Saturday at 4 p.m. and a Blessing of the Bikes will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. A Saturday night After Cruise Party featuring live music, special parking for cruisers, and food and drink specials will be held at Sirens Grille. The 10th Annual Arroyo Car Show classic and custom car and motorcycle show takes place Saturday at Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, California. Organizers expect hundreds of classic and custom cars, street rods, trucks, muscle cars, lowriders, motorcycles and bicycles at the event, which will also include live music, vendors and contests. The George Barris Cruisin’ Back to the ’50s Culver City Car Show takes place Saturday in Culver City, California. Over 400 classic cars and hot rods are expected at the eighth annual event, which will also feature vendors, music and food. George Barris, King of the Kustomizers, will be bringing some of his famous creations, including the Munster Koach, to the show. Proceeds will benefit local children’s charities. Parkland College Motorsports will present a car show Saturday on the college’s Champaign, Illinois, campus. Awards will be presented in 26 car and truck classes. Additionally, 12 Students Choice Awards will be presented to vehicles that will be featured in the next Parkland Motorsports calendar.
