Mobile Solutions will return to the Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show to present a brand-new Interior Fabrication Workshop on Saturday, March 19 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The two-hour seminar will teach attendees door panel design and construction techniques, as well as upholstery techniques such as how to blend different materials.
“This is a completely different class than last year’s,” said Bryan Schmitt of Mobile Solutions. “It will have all new topics and discussions.”
The workshop will also cover mounting techniques for door panels, how to use different types of fasteners, fiberglass lower pod addition design and construction techniques, as well as working with in-depth router inlays, according to Schmitt. A live panel routing demonstration will also take place at the workshop.
All skill levels are invited to attend this free workshop.
“Even if you’ve been doing it a year or 30 years this class is for you,” said Schmitt. “There’s definitely something for everyone. Even the veteran guys are going to pick up something.”
The Interior Fabrication Workshop taking place at the HRR Trade Show will be a scaled-down version of Mobile Solutions’ Advanced Door Panel Fabrication course, a four-day hands-on workshop the company holds at its facility in Tempe, Arizona.
Mobile Solutions recommends attendees have 3-5 years of fabrication experience before attending this workshop. The team will host a question-and-answer session at the end of the workshop.
