Mobile Solutions has announced that it will be offering a four-day course on advanced door panel fabrication techniques on July 24-27 at its facility in Tempe, Arizona. According to the company, this course will demonstrate three examples of real-world door panel designs.
The first topic covered includes how to design and construct of a fiberglass lower pod addition, which involves techniques for working with fiberglass, using router inlays and upholstery techniques.
The next topic covered will be how to design and modify an OEM door panel, which involves OEM panel routing and pressed snap-in grilles.
The third topic covered is complete door panel reconstruction, where those attending will learn how to reconstruct a complete door panel from start to finish.
This course is designed for attendees who have been to its other Master Tech courses or any advanced fabricators/builders (3-5 years minimum experience recommended). Beyond training, the company said it will provide lunch each day and a detailed training manual.
The company has also negotiated a rate for accommodations at a local hotel. Shuttle service to and from the training center is included. The class will be limited to 18 participants.
The fee for the four-day course is $999.
