Memorial Day Weekend traditionally marks the start of summer, and shops and communities across the country are hosting car shows to properly kick the season off. Below are details on 13 shows happening this weekend that give you the opportunity to show off your hottest creations and mingle with potential customers.

The Elvis Motor Classics International Car Show takes place Thursday through Sunday at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. Hundreds of cars from car clubs throughout the country will be on display throughout the 70 acres that surround Elvis Presley’s Graceland. This special event will be filled with food and fun for the whole family. The car show will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. One-day admission for adults and children over 13 is $10. Discounted two-day tickets are available for $18. Discounted three- and four-day tickets are available for $24. The Corvette Forum Cruise-In takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Mid-America Street Rod Nationals Plus are taking place at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Show hours are Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $14 for adults and children over 12, $5 for children 6 through 12, and free for children under 5. The West Coast Kustoms 29th Annual Cruisin’ Nationals takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Santa Maria Fairpark in Santa Maria, California. Friday night features the 2010 Santa Maria City Cruise for registered participants only. The “Show-n-Shine,” which is open to pre-1961 American-made vehicles only, runs Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Cruisin’ Nationals will feature vendors, a model car show, live music, an auction and special guests, including “Legends of Kustomizing” and “American Graffiti” star Candy Clark. Single-day admission is $12 for adults; a two-day pass is $20. Seniors 60 and over will be admitted for $6, while children 10 and under and active military members with ID will be admitted for free. North Way Christian Community’s Wexford Starlite Car Cruise season begins this Friday in Wexford, Pennsylvania. The monthly cruise, which is open to all cars and motorcycles, will be held each Friday from 5-9 p.m. through Labor Day Weekend. The free event has drawn as many as 2,000 cars and 5,000 spectators. The Moses Lake Classic Car Poker Run and 29th Annual Spring Festival Car Show will take place Friday and Saturday in Moses Lake, Washington. The poker run begins at Moses Lake High School Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m. The car show takes place Saturday in Downtown Moses Lake on Third Ave. from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature prizes, a raffle drawing and awards presentation. Crown Lanes Presents the 11th Annual Car Show and Cruise Night Saturday evening in Denver. The event, which is open to all vehicles, will feature a DJ, barbecue, prizes, dash plaques, vendors and car stuff for sale. The lanes will be charging $1 all day for bowling games. The 29th Annual Willits Community Festival & Car Show takes place Saturday and Sunday at Recreation Grove Park in Willits, California. Saturday features the 49’er Beef BBQ, Show’n Shine and live music from 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday kicks off with the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., followed by a classic car show, Memorial Day Ceremony featuring The American Legion Post 174’s color guard, car show games, concession booths, and awards and prize drawings. The 2nd Annual Sacramento SwingTime event hosted by Fun Monkey Entertainment takes place Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, California. Admission to the event is $18 for adults and includes full museum access, which includes the “Drive Fast, Take Chances: Birth of the Hot Rod” exhibit, as well as access to the event, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the museum. Kids 10 and under are free with paid adult admission. Car show entry is free for pre-1972 vehicles with admission to SwingTime. Goody’s Memorial Day Car Show takes place Monday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Goody’s Drive-In in St. Charles, Illinois. The event is open at pre-1983, American-made vehicles only. A 6-foot Best of Show will be awarded, as well as 5-foot Top 10 trophies, 90 large trophies and 101 giant trophies.
