Inside the Business: A smartly dressed Crew

Nov 1, 2010

One of Vehicle Accessories’ customers had purchased a brand new 2010 Laser Blue GMC Sierra Crew Cab. After several visits to the restyling store in Bay City, Mich., the customer finally decided on how he wanted to dress up his truck. And the team at Vehicle Accessories was, as always, ready to make the customer’s ideas a reality.

The Sierra owner’s first major purchase was an A.R.E. LSII lid, painted to match the color of the truck, complete with rear spoiler with built-in LED brake light. Plus, the truck had the very cool-looking a Fossliner charcoal interior.

The truck owner also chose to replace the existing factory black tailgate cap with a new, chrome Putco tailgate cap.

A few days later the customer returned to the restyler and purchased several chrome accessories to personalize his truck. Those chrome accessories included Putco vent visors and taillight covers, an All Sales third brake light cover and TFP fender trim.

The Sierra work wasn’t done, yet.

About a week later the customer returned to dress up his tailgate by purchasing a Putco tailgate handle and tailgate accent piece. And to top it all off, he purchased Husky custom mud flaps.

Vehicle Accessories also installed a stainless steel MagnaFlow exhaust tip and chrome Stampede hood protector. A Draw-Tite ball mount went on the hitch that came with the Sierra.

The customer’s next plan is to add chrome wheels and new tires to his new Sierra, replacing the OE stock. Vehicle Accessories says the 2010 Sierra Crew Cab is his second vehicle that the company has outfitted for him.
